I recently had the pleasure of spending 6 days exploring the beautiful city of Frankfurt and its surrounding areas. In this blog post, I'm going to share with you my experiences and adventures during my visit, including a day trip to Luxembourg and a visit to Bash Rooms.
Day 1: Arrival in Frankfurt
We arrived at Frankfurt airport early in the morning and wasted no time in exploring the city. We took a stroll through the famous Römerberg square, visited the iconic Frankfurt Cathedral, and wandered through the bustling streets of the city center.
Day 2: Day trip to Luxembourg
On our second day, we took a bus from Frankfurt to Luxembourg for our day trip. The bus ride took about three hours each way, but it was well worth it to explore the charming country of Luxembourg. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and architecture, as well as the delicious food and wine. The bus ride also gave us the opportunity to see some of the surrounding areas and countryside, which was a lovely bonus to our day trip.
Day 3 and 4: Exploring Frankfurt
The next two days were spent exploring the city of Frankfurt in more depth. We visited the Palmengarten botanical gardens, the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History, and the Frankfurt Zoo. We also took a boat tour of the Main River, which gave us a unique perspective of the city and its skyline.
Day 5: Bash Rooms
On our fifth day in Frankfurt, we decided to check out Bash Rooms, which is a popular attraction for people who love escape rooms. We spent a few hours trying to solve puzzles and riddles in order to escape the room before the time ran out. It was a thrilling experience that we won't forget anytime soon.
Day 6: Last day in Frankfurt
Our final day in Frankfurt was spent exploring some of the city's hidden gems. We visited the Kleinmarkthalle, which is a traditional food market that sells everything from fresh produce to exotic spices. We also walked through the trendy district of Sachsenhausen, which is known for its unique shops and cozy cafes.
Overall, our 6-day trip to Frankfurt was an incredible experience that we will always remember. We got to explore the city's rich history and culture, while also experiencing some thrilling activities like escape rooms. If you're planning a trip to Europe, we highly recommend adding Frankfurt to your itinerary!
